rough waters
I admit that my love life has not always been smooth sailing lately. Relationships can be difficult - being such a volatile blend of emotions, fears, hurt, and expectations - and thus require some degree of work. Accordingly, I have discovered that relationships are very much about sacrifices, compromises, and the willingness to break self-imposed rules, which is by no means easy. I am trying to handle all of this with grace but it can be overwhelming at times, so please bear with me.For those who are wondering, the answer is no. We love and need each other too much for that, and it would not be the right solution. We are navigating rough waters. But - if my eyes don't deceive me - I do see a glimpse of the shore. And that is enough to keep this ship afloat.
